What is Confirmation?
The Sacrament of Confirmation is the third and final of the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism and Holy Communion are the other two). In the Sacrament of Confirmation, the person is “sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit” and is strengthened for service to the Body of Christ. It is the beginning step of transformation from being receivers of God’s word to living God’s word in service to others.
