New Parishioners

Welcome to the parish of St. Joseph! We are honored and blessed that you have chosen (or are thinking of choosing) St. Joseph Catholic Church as your parish and spiritual home.

For 120 years this faith community has dedicated itself to living the message of Jesus Christ through our words and actions. And today this parish community is thriving and dedicated to help you and your loved ones grow in the spirit of Christ and our Catholic faith.

Here are some popular ways to become comfortable in your new spiritual home:

Stay for coffee & donuts - immediately following most Sunday Masses, our Ladies Guilds host coffee, tea, juice and donuts in the parish hall. Whether you introduce yourself to the people sitting around you or keep to yourself, you'll find a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere to relax and refresh your batteries for the week ahead. There is no charge.

Consider a ministry - your gifts of time and talent will strengthen our community, help you grow in your discipleship and it's the fastest and easiest way to meet other parishioners and begin forming the bonds that transforms church from "that building you go to once a week" to your spiritual home filled with close friends. With more than 30 ministries to choose from, there's something for everyone. Visit our Ministries page.

Deepen your faith - watch our events page as well as the bulletin for upcoming retreats, bible studies and other faith formation opportunities. If you have children, consider enrolling them in a religious education program appropriate for their age (see the Religious Education menu for all the options).

And finally, prayerfully consider sharing your financial gifts to help St. Joseph continue to provide worship space, religious education and outreach ministries. The generosity of parishioners just like you has enriched and strengthened this community. You can participate by becoming a monthly giver through our secure online giving program or by calling the office (360-384-3651) and requesting traditional giving envelopes.

Thank you and Welcome! We're glad you're here.
